About TrackLedger

Built by people who've waited for their cut.

We're a small team in London and Lagos — musicians, engineers and payments people — making the paperwork behind a song as quick as the session that made it.

Why we started

A bass line, a hit, and no paperwork.

In 2019, Temi played bass on a Lagos record that went on to do forty million streams. There was a handshake in the studio and a voice note afterwards. There was never a split sheet, so there was never a cheque.

Nora had spent eight years building payment systems for banks, moving millions between countries in seconds. When Temi told her the story, her answer was simple: the money already moves — it just doesn't know who to go to. TrackLedger is that missing piece.

What we believe

Four rules we don't bend.

They decide what we build, what we charge and what we say no to.

01

Credit before cash

A name on the record is worth something on its own. Everyone gets credited, whether or not they're owed a penny.

02

Nobody holds anybody's money

Not the lead artist, not the manager, not us. Money goes from the pot straight to the person.

03

Consent, every time

No share changes without the signature of the person it affects. No exceptions for big accounts.

04

Plain maths, out loud

Every statement shows the working. If you can't follow it, that's our bug to fix, not yours.

The team

Twenty-two people, two cities.

Half of us have played, written or engineered on records. The other half have built the systems that pay people. Everyone does support shifts.
