Low Tide
Marlow Fen feat. Ama Osei
TrackLedger writes down who made what while the track is still warm, gets every collaborator to sign their share on their phone, and pays it out from the very first stream.
18,240 tracks split, signed and paid on TrackLedger this month — by artists, producers and session players.
Low Tide
Marlow Fen feat. Ama Osei
One afternoon, five credits
A session is a room full of people who all made the song a little better. Tap anyone in the photo — this is what TrackLedger wrote down before they packed up.
Halde
Lead vocal, topline, lyrics
"Wrote the hook on the train in. Sang it on take three."
Side A · the old way
Most collaborations run on a handshake and a group chat. Months later, nobody remembers who wrote the hook — and the royalties sit unclaimed while everyone works it out.
tracks on this side. Tap one to hear how TrackLedger fixes it.
What happens
Four people leave the studio happy. Six months later the song is on a playlist and "we'll sort it out" turns into four different memories of who did what.
With TrackLedger
The sheet is started before the session ends. Everyone joins with a QR code, agrees on a split and signs it — with a timestamp nobody can argue with.
What happens
The bounce gets renamed, emailed and re-uploaded. By release day the guitarist, the engineer and the string arranger are nowhere in the metadata.
With TrackLedger
Credits live with the track, not the file. Every export, distributor upload and public credits page reads from the same signed record.
What happens
Whoever uploads the track gets the money, then has to forward everyone else's share by bank transfer — if they remember, and if they're still talking.
With TrackLedger
Income lands in the track's own pot and is split automatically on the 1st of every month. Nobody has to be the band's accountant.
What happens
One missing signature and a distributor freezes the whole release's income. Everyone waits on the one person who's on tour.
With TrackLedger
The holding pen keeps the unsigned share safe while everybody else gets paid. It releases the moment they sign — with every penny they earned in the meantime.
What happens
Statements arrive as a CSV from three places in three currencies, and someone spends a Sunday turning them into a spreadsheet nobody trusts.
With TrackLedger
One statement per person, in plain English, in their own currency — stream by stream, platform by platform, showing exactly where every pound came from.
How it works
Start a sheet in the studio. Everyone in the room scans in and adds their role.
Drag the shares until it feels fair, then everyone signs on their own phone.
TrackLedger files the song and the recording with the societies and your distributor.
Income flows into the track's pot and goes out on the 1st, to each person's account.
Live · paid to collaborators today
£184,220.14
Sent straight from track pots to the people who made them — no middle person forwarding anybody's money.
Inside TrackLedger
Six small tools that do one job each, so nobody in the band has to be the one who chases.
Signing
A link, a scribble, done. No app or account needed for collaborators.
Credits
Roles and writer IDs ride along with every export and upload.
Registrations
Song and recording filed with the societies and your distributor, with every reply tracked.

Disputes
One missing signature never stops everyone else's money.
Statements
One page per person, per month. Where every pound came from, in plain English and your own currency.
Catalogue
Drop in a distributor export. TrackLedger matches the tracks, finds the gaps and starts the missing sheets for you.
Who it's for
Same sheet, different jobs. Pick your seat in the room and see what TrackLedger takes off your plate.
For artists & writers
Start a sheet before anyone leaves the session. Everyone signs from their phone, and the money arrives on the 1st without you forwarding a penny.
For producers
Bring your own sheet to every session. Your points, your publishing and your credit are agreed before the bounce — and you see every track's earnings in one place.
For session players & engineers
Fee on the day, credit for life. TrackLedger puts your role on the signed record and your public profile — so the next booking finds you.
For labels, publishers & studios
Import everything you've released. TrackLedger finds the unsigned splits, missing credits and unclaimed income — then chases the people who can fix them.
Split calculator
Move the sliders and see what a split pays per month. It's a rough guide — the full calculator does platforms, currencies and the whole band.

From the credits
We asked the people on our early tracks to send us a voice note. Press play.
I signed my feature split in the back of an Uber leaving the studio. First time in my life I've been paid for a song in the same month it came out.
I produce for maybe forty artists a year. TrackLedger is the reason I stopped being the guy sending awkward "hey, about the splits" texts at 2am.
Mix engineers are always the first name to fall off. Now my credit is on the public page before the track's even out.

Security
Track pots sit in safeguarded client accounts, and every signature carries a full audit trail. How we keep it safe
Income waits in safeguarded accounts with regulated partners — never on our balance sheet.
Who signed, when, on which device, and exactly what they agreed to.
Money only leaves to people who've confirmed their identity and account.
Export every sheet, signature and statement as PDF or CSV, any time.
Questions
Pick a question. If yours isn't here, a real person on our team answers within a working day.
No. They just need a phone. Collaborators get a link by text or email, check their role and share, and sign with a finger. They only make an account if they want to see statements or get paid into a new account.
It's a signed agreement with a full audit trail. Every sheet records who signed, when, from which device, and exactly what they agreed to. It isn't a replacement for a lawyer on a major-label deal, but it's far stronger than a group chat.
From wherever the track earns. Connect your distributor and your societies, or upload their statements. TrackLedger pools each track's income and splits it on the 1st of every month, in 30+ currencies.
Propose a change, everyone re-signs. Anyone can propose a new split. Until everyone affected signs it, the old one stays in force — so the money never stops while you talk.
Yes — that's where most of the lost money is. Import your catalogue and TrackLedger shows which tracks are missing splits or credits, then starts the sheets for you. Back-pay held by your distributor is released once a track is fully signed.
Split sheets are free, forever. Payouts on the free plan cost 2% of what we distribute. Band is £8 a month with no payout fee. Labels and studios get custom pricing.
